The purpose of this study is to investigate how financial statement ratio analysis raises red flags and alerts to potential financial reporting fraud. Various ratios, such as leverage, profitability,

asset composition, liquidity, and capital turnover, are discussed in relation to their potential indicators of financial statement fraud. Red flag is a warning that fraud might happen in the companies. With many indicators or characteristics being guided by the regulators and authorities, we can detect the companies involved with fraud or not by just looking its financial ratios. Many researchers and scholars conduct the research related to this, and it was found that the financial ratios analysis can be used as a tool in detecting fraud in the financial statements. By analysing the financial ratio, the company and its stakeholders can analyse the possibility of fraud to happen before they invest in the company if they are intended to do so. These results prove empirically that the red flag in the ratios can detect fraudulent financial statements.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Research and Innovation Managementhttps://www.upikptss.edu.my/ojs/index.php/IJRIM/article/view/158Continuance Intention to Use eLearning (CIDOS) System Among Educators in Northern Polytechnic, Malaysia2025-01-02T04:38:47+00:00NUR AZREEN AZRIANA AZHAMazrianaazham@gmail.comNOR ASHIKIN MOHAMAD ISAnorashekinisa@gmail.com.my
Globally, online education has become increasingly popular, and many Malaysian higher education institutions are using Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate online instruction. In particular, the Curriculum Information Document Online System (CIDOS) is a well-known LMS utilized in polytechnics, Malaysia that provides a flexible and streamlined method of teaching and learning. The platform's continuous use for teaching and learning activities is essential to the LMS implementation's success in Malaysia's higher education institutions. The purpose of this study is to determine the elements that influence educators in northern polytechnics' continuous intention to use CIDOS by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The results of the study show that the intention to continue using CIDOS is highly influenced by effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating condition factors. However, performance expectancy had no significant influence on continuous intention. Among all predictors, the facilitating condition has the greatest influence on educators’ continuous intention to adopt CIDOS at northern polytechnic.
2024-12-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Research and Innovation Managementhttps://www.upikptss.edu.my/ojs/index.php/IJRIM/article/view/160Understanding the Drivers of Artificial Product Purchases Among Students in Malaysian Higher Learning Institutions2025-06-26T08:13:09+00:00ABD RAHMAN YAACOBabdrahmanyaacob@ptss.edu.myMaizah Mohmad Sommaizah@pmm.edu.my
In recent years, cases related to artificial products have garnered significant attention globally. Despite national mandates and international trends encouraging Outcome-Based Education (OBE) implementation, challenges persist in ensuring consistent understanding and application among lecturers. The problem statement highlights that while OBE has been embraced, its effective integration into curriculum design, assessment strategies, and instructional methods requires further investigation to ensure educational quality at PTSS. The objective of this research is to assess the level of comprehension and execution of OBE among lecturers at PTSS, focusing on their understanding of curriculum development, assessment techniques, and instructional strategies. In this study, data was collected using a quantitative questionnaire from 162 lecturers at PTSS. The findings show that lecturers have a high level of understanding of OBE, with average scores exceeding 4.0 for all aspects of the study, including curriculum (4.19), instructional (4.17), and assessment (4.17). This indicates that lecturers understand how to design curriculum, implement teaching methods, and assess learning outcomes based on OBE. However, the study suggests workshops or seminars to enhance lecturers' understanding of the concept of OBE and ensure more effective alignment with CLOs and PLOs. Based on these findings, it is recommended that future efforts include continuous professional development for lecturers, focused on strengthening assessment techniques and instructional delivery that better reflect OBE principles. Additionally, a more structured support system for lecturers could be established to ensure a deeper, more consistent application of OBE across all departments.

Keywords: Outcome-Based Education, Curriculum Design, Assessment, Instructional Strategies, Lecturer Competency
2024-12-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Research and Innovation Managementhttps://www.upikptss.edu.my/ojs/index.php/IJRIM/article/view/180Financial Metrics and Stock Valuation in Indonesian Non-Cyclical Manufacturing Firms2025-01-03T07:15:21+00:00Dewi Maya Saridewi@politeknikaceh.ac.idMislinawatimislina@politeknikaceh.ac.idDara Angreka Soufyandangreka@utu.ac.idSuhaini Mat Daudsuhaini@polimas.edu.my
This study investigates the factors influencing stock price volatility, including firm size, profitability, and liquidity, within the non-cyclical consumer sector.
