DEVELOPMENT OF DAILY STOCK STATUS MOBILE APPLICATION SYSTEM

Abstract

The involvement of technology in Supply Chain Management has grown and is becoming more widespread. Supply Chain Management is the management of the flow of goods and services and includes all processes that begin with raw materials to the last product. It involves the flow of material, financials, and information. These include product design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and control. The goal of this process is to reduce inventory, increase the speed of transactions and increase the workflow with profit in mind. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to develop a “Daily Stock Status Mobile Application System” in the use of the latest technology in parallel with the Revolutionary Industry 4.0 (IR 4.0) technology. The product was developed using Appsheet software and tested 6 employees in the logistics department of Company XYZ Sdn Bhd. The effectiveness of this product was evaluated using questionnaire studies among logistics workers. They need to answer questionnaire studies to compare the use of old methods compared to the smartphone application system. The results show that the “Daily Stock Status Mobile Application System” has received positive and best responses. This product is highly recommended to be used in obtaining the actual amount of something in stock of the item.
