A FRAMEWORK OF AGV REPLACES MANUAL TRANSFER IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY TO REDUCE MOTION WASTE

Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, allowing AGV to carry out transportation is the perfect strategy to eliminate the waste of movement. In addition, AGV objects can also detect themselves and move along the route designed through the laser driver system to get to the allocated location. The objective is also to eliminate motion waste and increase the productivity of the assembly line workstation. In order to eliminate the movement and transportation of materials and therefore increase productivity, an AGV system was implemented. In the specific system of this design, it is necessary to determine the location of the intake and delivery of the AGV, and the flow path of the activity of transporting parts has been eliminated manually and the Cycle Time is also reduced therefore the productivity increases. The following can be concluded the percentage time reduction of AGV from zone 3 to the zone 2 lines has been reduced by 11%.
