Abstract

Building maintenance encompasses services, facilities, facades, elements, and constructions, with each activity classified differently. Maintenance is always the most important aspect of any sort of structure to ensure that it remains in good working order and serves its purpose for a long time. Building management is necessary for all buildings in order for them to continue to operate, maintain their worth, and extend their lifetimes. A building's facade is a critical component that affects the comfort, safety, and aesthetics of the structure. The purpose of this study is to recommend the most suitable strategy to improve the quality of maintenance works on a building façade. The respondent's information was gathered using a descriptive survey technique. A combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches will be used in this study in the form of graphs and charts. The target population for this study is 35 respondents, including facility manager, administration, and technicians. Hence, a total of 32 respondents were involved in this study. The objective of this study is to identify the factors that affect the effectiveness of building maintenance management on building façade and to analyze the level of effectiveness of building maintenance management on building façade. The findings suggest that cost optimization, effective management, technical capability, and the development of human resources are ways and steps that can increase the effectiveness and quality of maintenance work on building facades.
